I've just finished another discussion that ended up with the a pointless "is not"/"is so" political categorization debate.
By now I've played enough terminological gymnastic to realize that the majority of political terminology is made up on the spot and cut to fit current political purpose. As such "definitions" are more often than not transitory, contradictory, and selective whenever it fits political expediency.
Save the tap-dancing pedantism for inter-party partisan games, such nebulous (non)-descriptors are worthless aside from use as contemporary rhetorical fluff. And save your breath by not bothering to discuss politics with parties you can't even agree with as to common definitions. (28,340)
