Our host called me at work last night to tell me some bad news: after years of fast and inexpensive service, our web hosting will be going under.
The server could go down before the 19th.
I'm not sure what the future of LW is, nor am I going to run an ill-fated pledge drive to try and save it (internet fiends are notoriously cheap bastards... I know because I'm one of them).
We have a lot of content on here representing thousands of hours of work. If nothing else, we'll back it up and hope to someday resurrect some kind of site.
Update: Looks like I spoke too soon. We found us a new host this morning. We'll be moving probably this weekend. (50,995)
Wed Aug 12, 2009 9:40 am You should just shop around for hosts there are so many cheap hosting companies out there these days. I'm sure you can find something almost as cheap.
